20th LAWASIA INTERNATIONAL MOOT COMPETITION

It is with great pleasure that the LAWASIA International Moot Secretariat welcomes you all to this year’s LAWASIA International Moot Competition. Celebrating its 20^th edition, the Moot Competition continues its tradition of challenging the unchallenged and exploring uncharted territories in various jurisdictions.

Building on the success of our 19^th edition, the LAWASIA International Moot Competition remains dedicated to integrating mooting into the global law school curriculum, fostering friendships along the way. The journey thus far has been truly delightful, with over 1,500 students participating in the LAWASIA International Moots. Our alumni, representing approximately 60 law schools from 30 different jurisdictions, stand testament to the competition’s international reach.

This year’s moot competition promises an exciting challenge for students, delving into the intricate issues surrounding modern slavery i.e. oppressed workers with several political allegations. We look forward to another engaging and intellectually stimulating event, providing a platform for legal minds to showcase their skills and forge new connections in the ever-evolving legal landscape.”

This year’s LAWASIA International Moot Competition will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

International Rounds: 10 – 13^th October 2025 (Hanoi, Vietnam)
